“The instructors here have made me fall in love with reformer Pilates. Each instructor has a different style, all challenging but still enjoyable at every difficulty level, and I'd genuinely recommend trying them all if you can. If you're just starting out, I'd especially recommend Julia, Vina, Penny, and Sanya. Kristen and Heiley will put you through your paces (in a good way!), and Bianca's classes always strike a perfect balance of strength/resistance, flow, and mobility. I'm grateful for all of them.”

“Sliving Pilates classes were exactly what I needed—challenging, yet calming, for a beginner like me, the classes had a strong focus on form and breathing which was great to get into it. The instructors are attentive and encouraging, making it easy to follow along regardless of experience level. I left feeling stronger, definitely had full body stretched out, feel so happy after every class, and always eager to come back! Shout out to Heiley , she’s great!”

  • Totally! It's a common misconception that Pilates is a workout geared toward women, but history tells us that's far from the truth! Pilates was developed by a man, Joseph Pilates, and early on, it was used as a form of physical therapy for soldiers injured in battle. Some benefits of Pilates for men:

    • Improve sports performance.

    • Have fewer aches and pains.

    • Improve balance.

    • Reduce injuries from overtraining.

  • The frequency of your workouts can depend on your personal goals and fitness level, but generally, attending 2-3 sessions per week can help you see noticeable improvements in strength, flexibility, and posture within a few weeks.

  • Reformer Pilates offers several unique health benefits, including improved joint mobility, better coordination, enhanced lung capacity through deep breathing exercises, and a stronger pelvic floor. These benefits make it a holistic fitness approach that enhances both physical and mental well-being.

  • Yes, Reformer Pilates can be an effective component of a weight loss program. It helps build lean muscle mass, which can increase your metabolism and help you burn more calories, even at rest.
